Time: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Location: Swedish Club
1920 Dexter Avenue, N
Seattle, WA  98109

How do you increase speed to market and/ or improve the return on investment of your capital projects? The Lean Construction Institute sponsored two separate research studies, conducted by Dodge Data & Analytics and the University of Minnesota, to explore how and why projects excel. Empirical evidence now shows that projects with high Lean intensity are three times more likely to complete ahead of schedule and two times more likely to complete under budget. The latest project results are in providing empirical evidence that Lean Construction methods correlate to better project outcomes!

Come hear Bevan Mace, Vice President, National Operations & Lean with Balfour Beatty, present the highlights of two national research studies by Dodge Data & Analytics and University of Minnesota. Through a bench-marking survey and case studies the researchers collectively examined 172 projects across the country to learn why some projects excel, the impact of Lean and how teams are successfully implementing Lean methods. And hear about which methods had the most impact on project outcomes.
