Using the Hero’s Journey to Achieve Lean Cultural Transformation

Date: Wednesday, February 15, 2017

Time: 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Location: Doubletree Suites Phoenix Airport
320 N. 44th Street
Phoenix, AZ 85008-7698

Culture is key to Lean Construction. Changing to a Lean culture is one of the biggest barriers to large scale Lean Construction adoption. However, the uncertainty of the Lean culture transformation journey can be minimized with an integrated solution that addresses both the exterior (organizational) and interior (personal) elements of this continuous improvement process. Come prepared to engage in interactive discussions regarding an integrated approach that combines an A3 model of individual perspective and self-awareness; with an interactive story telling approach (the hero's journey) that each individual must pursue in order for Lean cultural transformation to occur.

So join us as we continue to explore the psychology of cultural change and how to use the Hero’s Journey to achieve a Lean cultural transformation.

Speakers:

Brian Rice, PhD, PMP is the Chief Integration Officer/Performance Psychologist at Integration By Design. His career journey has integrated roles in sport/performance psychology, corporate training, executive coaching, residential remodeling, project management and Lean process improvement.
